Andrew N. Liveris is President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of The Dow Chemical Company, a $49 billion global chemical and plastics manufacturer based in Midland, Michigan. Liveris' 30-year Dow career has spanned manufacturing, sales, marketing, new business development and management. He has spent the bulk of his career in Asia, where he was general manager for the company's operations in Thailand, and later head of all Asia-Pacific operations.

Andrew N. Liveris, president and chief operating officer, said the streamlined organization will not only reduce structure, but will increase leveraging on value-creating activities. In addition, it will position the company to adjust to major changes occurring in the chemical industry, including higher feedstock costs and shifting patterns of geographic growth.
